A 19-year-old man was arrested March 9 in the 600 block of E. Ventura Boulevard on charges of petty theft.

Someone stole less than $400 in merchandise from the Vons supermarket, 820 Arneill Road, on March 9.

An 18-year-old male student at Adolfo Camarillo High School, 4660 Mission Oaks Blvd., was arrested March 10 for allegedly intending to sell prescription drugs—three pills—for $2 each.

Vandals caused about $60 in damage to property in the 500 block of Paseo Camarillo sometime between March 11 and 12.

It was reported March 12 that sometime between Jan. 12 and March 10 someone stole $1,000 in property from a bedroom in the 4400 block of El Corazon Court.

A 30-year-old man was arrested March 12 in the 6400 block of Armitos Drive for reportedly entering the backyard of a woman who had filed a restraining order against him.

A 47-year-old man was arrested March 13 in the 1600 block of Daily Drive on an out-of-county warrant stemming from an earlier arrest on charges of grand theft.

A 26-year-old man was arrested March 13 in the 3600 block of Beardsley Road for allegedly beating another man with a metal fence post. Police also arrested a 22-year-old on charges of threatening and dissuading a victim while he was being interviewed by police.

Sometime between March 13 and 14, a car parked in the 800 block of Calle La Prada was burglarized. More than $400 in property was reported stolen.

A 39-year-old man was cited and released March 14 at the Good Nite Inn, 1100 Ventura Boulevard, for a 19-year-old out-of-county warrant stemming from his arrest for being a minor in possession of alcohol.

A 36-year-old man was arrested March 14 in the 4800 block of Adohr Lane on multiple charges, including petty theft and for being in possession of burglary tools.

A 29-year-old man was arrested March 14 in the 1200 block of Rosewood Avenue on charges of being in possession of drugs and for unauthorized entry of a home.

A shoplifter stole less than $400 in property from the Kmart store, 940 Arneill Road, on March 14.

Someone stole a shih tzu dog from a home in the 5200 block of Corte Bocina on March 14.

An unknown shoplifter stole less than $400 in property from the Juicy Couture store, 910 Camarillo Center Drive, on March 14. The thief then struck one of the store’s employees when confronted.

Sometime between March 14 and 15, $250 in property was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 700 block of Paseo Camarillo.

A 19-year-old man was arrested March 15 in the 1400 block of La Culebra Circle on charges of false imprisonment with violence, domestic abuse and dissuading a witness from testifying.

Burglars broke into a business in the 1500 block of Flynn Road and stole $260 in property sometime between March 13 and 14.

Between March 9 and March 15, police reported arresting four people for driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, three people were arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and 19 people were arrested on various drug charges.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested on Gabbert Road for violating health and safety codes.

Police cited a 60-year-old man who was walking on the railroad tracks in the 400 block of High Street.

March 5
During a traffic stop on South Hampton Road, police arrested a man who’d been driving while under the influence of alcohol.

Police cited a man who went to the Moorpark Police Station and falsely reported his vehicle had been burglarized so he could obtain a police report and acquire additional prescription drugs.

Vandals caused more than $400 in damage spray painting property at Moorpark High School.

While executing a search warrant on Bubbling Brook Street, officers arrested a woman who was under the influence of heroin.

A man who was driving on a suspended license was cited at Los Angeles Avenue and Buttercreek Road.

Police arrested an intoxicated man who was found lying within two feet of the railroad tracks in the 300 block of High Street.

Someone stole items from a store in the 100 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

In the 500 block of Spring Road police arrested a man who violated his probation terms.

A man who was trespassing on the railroad tracks and had purchased rock cocaine in downtown Moorpark was arrested at the intersection of Spring Road and High Street.

Police arrested a shoplifter who store goods from a store in the 100 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

A person was cited for possessing marijuana inside his vehicle. The incident occurred in the 800 block of Patriot Drive.

Following a traffic stop at the intersection of Los Angeles Avenue and Spring Road, police arrested a man who was driving while drunk.

Someone stole a card scanner from the outside of a bank in the 100 block of Los Angeles Avenue.

On Varsity Street a man was cited with a $5,000 fine for inflicting visible injury to his daughter.

Someone was cited for possessing marijuana in a vehicle at Los Angeles and Moorpark avenues.

A man, 34, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs on the corner of Avenida Simi and Sequoia Avenue.

In the 3400 block of Chicory Leaf Place, a 20-year-old man was arrested for providing false information to a police officer.

At Alviso and Wilton streets, a 20-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana.

In the 1800 block of Maybrook Way, a 42-year-old man was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

A 42-year-old man was arrested in the 1000 block of Crosby Avenue on a charge of making criminal threats.

At Simi Valley High School in the 5400 block of Cochran Street, an 18-year-old man was arrested for transporting or importing into the state a controlled substance and selling or giving that substance away.

At Sycamore Drive and Royal Avenue, a 25-year-old man was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

A man, 26, was arrested on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon near the Jack in the Box in the 1500 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue.

Officers responded to a report of an overdose in the 1700 block of Yosemite Avenue and arrested a 45-year-old man for possession of narcotics.

A man, 20, was arrested for grand theft after officers responded to a theft in progress in the 2400 block of Pierce Court. The man was booked on a charge of burglary for another incident.

At the Metrolink Station in the 5000 block of E. Los Angeles Avenue, a man, 35, was arrested for possession of marijuana.

March 14
Officers responded to a report of an overdose in the 2800 block of Corpus Christi Avenue and arrested a 19-year-old man for possession of narcotics and a 25-year-old man for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

In the 2200 block of Workman Avenue, a 29-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

A 19-year-old woman was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the 3500 block of E. Sweetwood Street.

At the Macy’s in the 1500 block of Simi Town Center Way, an 18-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting and charged with theft.

In the 4300 block of Alamo Street, a 22-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

A 38-year-old man was arrested at Madera Road and American Street and charged with the transportation or sale of a controlled substance.

In the 2500 block of Erringer Road, a 28-year-old man was arrested for domestic infliction of corporal injury.

At Galena Avenue and E. Cochran Street, a 21-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

A 35-year-old male was arrested for attempted murder at 7:22 a.m. March 10 in the 3000 block of Elmwood Street. The subject was also charged with arson and possessing an explosive device with the intent to injure or destroy.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a male, 26, at 12:15 p.m. March 4 in the 2800 block of Camino Dos Rios; a female, 21, at 7:10 p.m. March 6 at Ventu Park Road and the 101 Freeway; a male, 39, at 10:15 p.m. March 7 in the 1300 block of Newbury Road (subject possessed a controlled substance and syringes); a male, 19, at 3:15 a.m. March 6 in the 3200 block of Jessica Street (subject also possessed brass knuckles); a male, 54, at 10:15 p.m. March 7 in the 1300 block of Newbury Road (subject also possessed a controlled substance); a male, 44, at 10:40 a.m. March 2 at Wendy and Kimber drives (subject intentionally hit another person’s vehicle with the intent to injure someone).

A male, 22, was arrested for possessing heroin and syringes at 7:10 p.m. March 6 at Ventu Park Road and the 101 Freeway.

A male, 31, was arrested for domestic battery with injury at 12:30 a.m. March 10 in the 400 block of Avenida del Platino.

A male, 27, was discovered sleeping on the toilet at Sushi Yusho restaurant at 2365 Michael Drive. The subject was arrested for being drunk in public at 4:30 p.m. March 6.

A male, 39, was arrested for stealing alcohol from Vons and CVS stores in the 2100 block of Newbury Road at 9:30 p.m. March 8.

An 18-year-old male was cited for possessing a gravity knife at 10:40 p.m. March 5 in the 2100 block of Newbury Road.

A burglary occurred between 7:22 and 9:42 p.m. Feb. 28 in the 2700 block of Teller Road.

A home burglary occurred on March 6 or 7 in the 3000 block of Lodgewood Street.

A home was burglarized between 7 and 7:30 p.m. March 4 in the 200 block of Pebble Beach Drive.

A male, 35, committed a petty theft on Feb. 9 in the 500 block of S. Reino Road. He was arrested in the 500 block of Los Angeles Avenue in Moorpark on March 4.

Kohl’s at 1960 Newbury Road was burglarized between 1:43 and 1:48 a.m. March 8.

Property was stolen from a garage between Feb. 16 and March 5 in the 600 block of Avenida de La Plata.

A burglar entered a room at the Palm Garden Hotel at 495 N. Ventu Park Road and attempted to steal a computer but was scared away. The attempted burglary occurred around 5:15 a.m. March 9.

Property was vandalized on March 5 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.

Vehicle break-ins occurred at the following locations: on March 7 or 8 in the 600 block of Kitty Street (two vehicles); on March 8 or 9 in the 800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; between 7 and 9:30 p.m. March 5 in the 3800 block of San Clemente Court (unlocked).

Thieves entered a garage and stole items from an unlocked vehicle between 1:20 and 1:36 a.m. March 7 in the 1400 block of Sapphire Dragon Street.

Gang graffiti defaced property between March 2 and 7 along Moonridge Avenue.

A male, 22, was arrested for soliciting door-to-door without a permit at 4:45 p.m. March 3 at Via Jacinto and Via Merla.

A male, 23, was arrested for soliciting without a permit at 2:50 p.m. March 5 at Calle Pinata and Calle Ruiz.

A plastic cow was removed from someone’s front yard—and found at another location—between March 5 and 7 in the 1800 block of Fox Springs Circle.

A 20-year-old male was arrested for a gang-related assault with a deadly weapon, street terrorism, street gang coercion and corporal injury to a child at 10:15 a.m. March 2 in the 300 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 22, at 2:32 a.m. March 7 in the 1400 block of Calle de Oro; a male, 52, at 5 p.m. March 10 at Rancho Road and Hillcrest Drive; a male, 29, at 6:10 p.m. March 4 in the 500 block of N. Moorpark Road (subject was involved in noninjury, single-vehicle crash); a male, 21, at 11:12 p.m. March 5 in the 100 block of Greenmeadow Avenue (subject involved in a hit-and-run accident); a male, 21, at 2:03 a.m. March 7 at the northbound 101 and the 23 freeways; a female, 25, at 1:40 a.m. March 8 at the northbound 23 Freeway and Janss Road.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a male, 18, at 1:20 a.m. March 11 at Calle Quebracho and Avenida de Los Arboles; a male, 46, at 10:35 p.m. March 7 in the 400 block of E. Wilbur Road (subject resisted arrest and possessed marijuana and a smoking device); a male, 41, at 11:15 p.m. March 7 in the 1400 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles (subject possessed metham-phetamine and a glass smoking pipe); a female, 24, at 12:45 p.m. Dec. 4 in the 900 block of Witherspoon Drive (recently reported).

A male (37 to 42) who refused to identify himself was arrested for trespassing onto Lang Ranch Elementary School and delaying a police officer at 3:45 p.m. March 9.

A male, 31, was arrested for battering and injuring someone at 12:40 a.m. March 10 in the 500 block of Avenida del Platino.

For battering and injuring the mother of his children, a 29-year-old male was arrested at 6:15 a.m. March 7 in the 800 block of E. Avenida de Las Flores.

A male, 37, was arrested for domestic battery at 7:53 p.m. March 4 in the 2900 block of Camino del Zuro.

A female, 25, was cited for domestic battery at 6:15 a.m. March 7 in the 800 block of E. Avenida de Las Flores.

A male, 60, was arrested for hitting someone in the forehead with the heel of a shoe at 9 p.m. March 4 in the 1900 block of Stonesgate Street.

A male, 19, was arrested for domestic battery at 1:45 p.m. March 8 in the 2600 block of Conejo Canyon Court.

A female, 18, pushed her boyfriend and was cited for battery at 2 p.m. March 8 in the 2600 block of Conejo Canyon Court.

A male, 19, was arrested for possessing one Ecstasy pill and 12.6 grams of marijuana at 11:40 a.m. March 7 at Erbes Road, south of Olsen Road.

A male, 18, broke into a vehicle to steal medication around 3 p.m. March 2 in the 1800 block of Avenida de Los Arboles.

A home burglary occurred between March 4 and 7 in the 300 block of Somerset Circle. Another home was burglarized between 2:15 and 2:35 p.m. March 3 in the 700 block of Calle Jazmin.

Vehicle tires were slashed between Feb. 19 and March 5 in the 400 block of W. Gainsborough Avenue.

An $850 rear vehicle window was broken between 5:30 and 6:45 p.m. March 9 in the 1300 block of Calle Violeta.

A female, 37, was cited for selling items without a license at 3:10 p.m. March 6 in the 100 block of Yucca Lane.

A male, 33, was arrested for being drunk in public at 7:15 p.m. March 9 in the 1500 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Three males between the ages of 19 and 52 were cited for gambling in public at 3:25 p.m. March 7 at Royal Oaks Drive and Hampshire Road.

A male, 34, was cited for drinking alcohol in public at 3:55 p.m. March 6 in the 100 block of S. Oakview Drive.

Westlake
A male, 18, was arrested for stealing a vehicle, being under the influence of heroin, possessing a controlled substance, possessing drug paraphernalia and obstructing justice at 12:40 p.m. March 6 in the 5500 block of Eagle Point Circle. Police needed to use a Taser stun gun to subdue the subject.

A male, 46, was cited for battering and injuring his wife at 8 a.m. March 7 in the 1600 block of Brentford Avenue. A female, 42, was cited for battery at the scene.

A female, 21, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance at 3 p.m. March 10 in the 1700 block of Mesa Ridge Avenue.
