Don’t you just love when a friend tells you about a terrific local restaurant, caterer, marketplace, cookbook or recipe? As the Acorn Epicurean, it will be my sincere pleasure to tell you about “must visit” restaurants and the people behind them. But let’s not stop at restaurants, let’s explore our local caterers, peak of the season fruits and vegetables, the local Farmers’ Markets, seasonal recipes, cookbooks and all other aspects of the culinary arts. With a degree in Journalism, it has been my good fortune to contribute to the Food and Travel section of a major Los Angeles newspaper. I love to wine, dine, cook, bake and write.
